Savory Mushroom Oatmeal

  • Ingredients:

    2 cups Oatmeal
    4 cups Mushroom stock or water
    ½ cup The Daily Good Mushroom Crisps Original (coarsely chopped)
    3 cloves Garlic (minced)
    1 med Red onion (chopped)
    1/2 tsp Nutmeg
    1 tsp Salt
    ½ tsp Pepper

Instruction:
Step 1:
Saute onion in a frying pan until slightly translucent.

Step 2:
Add the garlic in the pan and continue to saute.

Step 3:
Add the The Daily Good Mushroom Crisps Original in the pan.

Step 4:
Add oatmeal and mushroom stock or water in the pan.

Step 5:
Stir occasionally for 15 minutes until oats are of desired texture.

Step 6:
Serve while hot.
